*Important Note: When the lighter Gois A3 Rings are used as recommended, these rings are more than strong enough for the application.

  • During pursing, the lighter Gois A-3 Rings will be easier to keep the net clear from the cable, if the net is going on top of the cable and rings.
  • When the main boom is lifted to its highest position, at the beginning of rolling the net aboard the vessel, the lighter Gois A-3 Rings will be safer to use.
  • When sacking up, the lighter Gois A3 Ring is safer and easier to use, as each section of net is lifted up and dropped down.
  • When the main boom is put down, and the last, thickest part of the net (the sack) is rolled aboard the boat, the net tends to twist; the lighter Gois A3 Ring is much easier to pull out of the net.
